Kanzashi - (Tsumami Kanzashi) is a centuries old traditional Japanese art.

In the early 2000’s I self taught myself this traditional art, armed only with a craft book written in Japanese and a doll that my stepdad bought for me in Japan that I disassembled to learn. My love for this craft allowed me to adorn the famous to the neighbors next door. (As well as feed my love for kimono and other Asian fabrics.) My work has been published many times as well as shown and sold all over the world. Additional previous work galleries are available here.

I only do custom wedding orders by appointment only. 3 months lead time is the minimum. For more about my kanzashi service please contact me directly.
